Supervision is necessary in the counseling field to improve client care, develop professionalism, and impart and maintain ethical standards. I take my role of supervisor seriously. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities in my practice and I will share what I use and also be interested in anything new that you are learning and wanting to use in your own work with clients. I like to cultivate a collaborative supervisory relationship in which you can explore, take risks, and develop your own therapeutic style.
I am a teacher, coach, consultant, mentor, and evaluator. I provide you support, encouragement, and education while addressing an array of psychological, interpersonal, physical, psychosocial and spiritual issues of your clients.
I believe that people heal through relationships. I feel that my relationship with you as an associate, and in turn, your relationships with your clients, is what encourages positive change.
