I take my task as a supervisor very seriously. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities in my practice and I will share what I use and also be interested in anything new that you are learning and wanting to use in your own work with clients. I like to cultivate a collaborative supervisory relationship in which interns can explore, take risks, and develop their own therapeutic style.
As both a counselor and a supervisor, I help clients and interns to explore their purpose and to live their best lives. I believe that people heal through relationships. I feel that my relationship with students and interns, and in turn, their relationships with their clients, is what encourages positive change.
