Supervision for LPC-Associates, grounded in relationship.
I take my role as supervisor seriously. Supervision exists to improve client care, build professionalism, and uphold ethical standards. I believe it works best inside a collaborative relationship where you can explore, take risks, and develop your own therapeutic style.
My approach to supervision
I use a variety of therapeutic modalities in my own practice, and I am just as interested in what you are learning and wanting to bring into your work with clients. Supervision is a two-way exchange, not a one-way evaluation.
I am a teacher, coach, consultant, mentor, and evaluator, offering support, encouragement, and education while we address the psychological, interpersonal, physical, psychosocial, and spiritual issues your clients bring into the room. I believe people heal through relationships, and that includes the one we build together as supervisor and associate.
